Acceptance of terms

By downloading or using Luna Calorie (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Luna Calorie. If you are under 13, do not create an account or use the app.

Account

An account is required to use the app. You may sign in with an email and password or through Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

Account deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion permanently removes all your data and your Firebase Auth account. Once deleted, you cannot re-register with the same email address.

Using the app

You may use Luna Calorie for your personal, non-commercial food tracking. You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or access it through means other than the provided interface.

Not medical advice

Luna Calorie provides estimated nutrition information for general informational purposes only. It is not medical, nutritional, or health advice, and is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Consult a professional before making decisions about your diet or health.

Accuracy of estimates

Calorie and macro figures are automated AI-generated estimates and may be inaccurate. They are a starting point you can adjust. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any estimate.

AI features

The app uses third-party AI providers (Google Gemini and Sarvam AI) to process food descriptions, photos, and voice recordings to generate nutrition estimates, meal plans, and insights. By using these features, you consent to your content being sent to and processed by these providers.

Your content

You keep ownership of the information you log. You grant us the limited permission needed to process your data so the app can provide its features, including sending it to AI providers as described above.

Luna Calorie integrates with the following services, each operating under its own terms and privacy policy:

• Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore
• Google Gemini AI
• Sarvam AI
• Open Food Facts
• Android Health Connect

Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luna Calorie is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
