Luna is in closed testing on Google Play. Follow these three steps in order, and use the same Google account for all of them.
First
Join the tester group with the Google account you want to use for the beta. This unlocks access to the test.
Join the groupThen
Opt in to the test using that same Google account, then accept the invitation on the page that opens.
Become a testerFinally
Confirm that same account is signed in to the Play Store, then install Luna. It can take a few minutes to appear the first time.

Yes. Luna is free throughout the closed beta, with no card required.
Join the Google Group, become a tester through Google Play, then install Luna from the Play Store. The three-step beta route has each link in order.
Google Play connects closed-test access to the account that joined the group and opted in. Keep that same account signed in to the Play Store so Luna can install.
After opting in, Google Play can take a few minutes to make the test available. Keep the same Google account signed in, then check the install link again.
Luna brings your daily meals, calories, macros, activity and weight progress into one simple place.
Luna uses AI-assisted nutrition estimates to organise meal details. Treat estimates as a helpful guide and review them whenever you need more precision.
